this weekend of fall weather, sure is going to spoil me (next week is in the 90's again). i feel so ready to pull out all my sweaters + jackets. FALL PLEASE GET HERE + STAY! fall + winter are by far my favorite seasons. i love being able to bundle up + having a cold nose + finger tips.
today we are going to venture over to Oktoberfest in Addison. should be the perfect day to spend outside.
i will have a very large update on monday for you all. work/school started again + it has sucked away all my energy in the afternoons. that + my very busy three-year-old.
next week i also have a very special installment of Real Moms: A Series. stay tuned.

i don't think i tell brian enough, but he truly is my best friend.
last night we went to sleep early (8:30pm early!!!) then at about 1:00am he was wide awake + woke me up (he claims on accident), but i am happy he did. we stayed up all night just talking, telling stories of our childhood (some old, some new). we laughed all night. we had not done this in a long time. it was so refreshing to have a night where it was just us listening to each others silliness in the dark.
i would do anything for this man. he is my everything. he gave me my everything else.
he supports every crazy idea i come up with and is always 100% on board.

this weekend we are spending lots of time getting geared up for arts camp this week.
i am a counselor + nathan will be attending. should be lots of fun!
getting back into work mode is tough after a nice long summer, but i am missing having lots of kids around all the time.

today we are headed out to the lake house to celebrate america, texas, + my grandad's birthday. i always love going to the lake...i am allowed to be lazy the whole weekend. the lake is extremely relaxing + fun. we have a lot of close family friends with lake houses right around ours so it is always fun having people over to hang out on our dock or have cocktails outside in the evenings. nathan also loves the lake, still a little unsure about the water (i dont blame him) but he loves running around in the yard + fishing with his daddy.

i hate garage sales.
setting them up + getting organized early in the morning is beyond miserable. having a garage sale has been put at the bottom of every to do list since september, so i figured it was about time.

today i leave my readers with a song. + i dedicate this song to Jonathan Frid.
he was a great friend from high school, he was funny, kind, and a sweetheart to everyone. I found out yesterday that he passed away suddenly on thursday. those who knew him have broken hearts. please take a moment today to hug loved ones or call an old friend bc you never know when their lives will be taken from them.
