hello world.

i am officially back to reality, it is always so hard coming back to life after a week off school + work. 

spring break was wonderful! we went to the park a LOT, our nieces came into town for a couple days, i now have a little boy that goes "tee tee + poo poo" in the potty!, we finally got a king size bed + we went one a wonderful mommy/son date night at the nasher with friends, while daddy went fishing. 

one of my favorite weeks with nathan. i am so proud of this big boy + love watching him grow up .(now if he would just slow down)

hope everyone had a great spring break if you were fortunate enough to have one!

here is a peek at whats been going on around here lately. 

how crazy is TEXAS weather. saturday we were wearing heavy coats and knit hats + today we are going to the park in shorts and t-shirts! 

i love this beautiful weather today so i am keeping this post short + sweet, we are headed out to meet friends to play outside the rest of the day. the perfect afternoon in my opinion.

not a whole lot going on around here the past week. 

we went to the craft store for the pinterest party i went to + nathan begged me for the bracelet making kit + i couldn't turn down an afternoon of crafting with the little. 

that afternoon turned into the weekend  on going love for jewelry making. 

everyone close to us has received a personalized bracelet.

my lovely valentine sent me two dozen roses at work, getting flowers at work as been a dream (pathetic dream , i know!) in the four years i've asked it has never happened. this year it did and i was more thrilled with the flowers, i could have gotten them anywhere.

here is what we've been up to the last two weeks.

keep in mind i have been fighting the sinus villan.

today the weather was beautiful here + dad had the day off. 

we spent the afternoon walking around the lake + feeding the ducks.

 how can you not fall in love with that sleeping little one?

i think i might be the luckiest girl in the world...look at the love between those two. 

some bright colors happening at work lately. well everyday.

a few glimpses at our super bowl party, post to follow.

we are really looking forward to Valentine's Day around here.
